This store could use more variety in some areas but that is most likely due to the buildings size and age. The produce area definitely lacks in variety and sometimes lacks in quality. But I must say, there are plenty of employees that have wonderful customer service skills.
It's a small store in a historic building but the staff is really nice and helpful. Prices are higher than other grocery stores but if you need to pick up a few things it is the perfect place.
Part of Haddonfield history. My Great Grandmother shopped here. Love the trimmed Lancaster Brand meats. Friendly, small but well stocked. Typical Haddonfield, and more is really expected here. You get it at this Acme.
Overpriced small selection.bizarre staff. I went away for a few weeks and found that a member of the staff who had been sleeping in the parking lot at acme in her car had moved into my house. She posted photos of herself in one of the bedrooms and wrote this is my happy place. She never paid anything was superude and then had mail sent to my address. Acme store management did not care that she was sleeping in her car and did not care she trespassed into my house when it was a blizzard in the parking lot. At first i felt bad for her but when I found out she trashed things I realized that she behaved like a stray dog and the store didn't care. It was hard to get her to leave. No one thanked me and no one paid for her use of the space and for the utilities. When I asked for rent she said i can't afford to work here I only work in acme. The store manager laughed at my sad true tale
This is a very small size store with historical significance. Because of that, its main structure has basically stayed the same. The negatives are that theres few choices as far as stock goes. That being said, the items that they do have are well stocked and the meat, seafood,deli and produce depts. are well kept. Employees are courteous.
