I received a wonderful tour from Linda earlier this week that was so thorough and detailed. All just for me as a walk in, too. It feels like stepping back in time, a must stop!
Does anyone even know about this place? It has a lot of history. New Jersey became a state with a signed doc here. The troops led there way up to the Battle of Monmouth from here. Very interesting. And a great tour guide very knowledgeable!
A small place to walk around, but well put together to give you a glimpse into the past. The staff seem well versed in the history, and offer nice explanations. I highly suggest visiting when they're doing a "reenactment" so that you can see the museum, see everyone all dressed up, and witness the battle that takes place up Kings Highway.
